For the Visit Idaho “Breweries” page, this wireframe was designed to highlight the state’s craft beer scene in a way that feels engaging, organized, and easy to explore. The layout opens with a strong introduction, then moves into seasonal features, curated brewery highlights, events, and trip-planning content, balancing storytelling with practical information. Repeatable card components and structured content blocks create clarity while allowing flexibility for future campaigns and regional spotlights.
From a UX standpoint, the goal was to increase awareness of Idaho’s growing brewery culture, drive traffic to individual listings, and encourage deeper on-site engagement by connecting breweries to events and travel experiences across the state.
On mobile, the design shifts to a clean, scrollable layout with stacked sections, swipeable cards, and tappable event listings, ensuring a smooth, intuitive experience for users planning on the go.

For the final mockup of the Visit Idaho Breweries page, I brought the wireframe to life by fully integrating the brand’s visual system and adding custom illustrated elements to create personality and depth. Subtle line illustrations of brewing equipment, hops, and barley were woven throughout the sections to reinforce the craft beer theme without overpowering the content. Textural overlays, layered photography, and warm, earthy color blocking helped create a welcoming, handcrafted feel that reflects Idaho’s brewery culture.
I used bold typography for headlines to establish energy and hierarchy, while keeping body text clean and readable for easy scanning. Interactive components like brewery carousels, event listings by month, and featured travel tips were designed to feel dynamic but intuitive, guiding users naturally from inspiration to action. The illustrated map and itinerary builder section add both visual interest and functional value, encouraging users to explore breweries geographically and plan their trips.
The end result is a page that feels immersive, informative, and distinctly Idaho. Post-launch performance goals included increasing traffic to individual brewery listings, boosting engagement with seasonal beer content, and strengthening Idaho’s positioning as an emerging craft beer destination. Early indicators showed higher time on page and stronger interaction with event and itinerary features, supporting broader tourism awareness and trip planning across the state.
