Washington's
Evergreen Coast

Wireframe

For the Washington’s Evergreen Coast landing page, I designed the wireframe to feel welcoming and easy to move through. The page starts with a strong, inspiring hero section, then naturally flows into ways to explore, featured communities, and helpful trip-planning resources. I focused on creating a clear visual hierarchy so users can quickly understand where to look and what to do next. Reusable card layouts, simple navigation patterns, and thoughtfully placed calls to action help guide exploration without making the page feel busy.

When translating the design to mobile, I prioritized simplicity and flow. Sections stack into a clean, scrollable layout, cards become swipe-friendly, and buttons are sized for easy tapping. The goal was to keep the sense of discovery intact while making the experience smooth and intuitive on a smaller screen.

Final Mock

For the redesigned Washington’s Evergreen Coast website, I leaned fully into the organization’s refreshed brand system and translated it into a cohesive digital experience. The new typography set the tone, pairing a welcoming, character-driven headline font with clean, readable body text to balance personality with clarity. I incorporated the brand’s coastal color palette throughout the interface, using deep evergreen tones, sandy neutrals, and vibrant accent colors to create visual warmth while guiding attention to key calls to action.

Textural elements played a big role in bringing the identity to life. Organic wave dividers, illustrated badges, subtle map overlays, and tactile background textures helped reflect the rugged, natural character of the coast. I built reusable card components and content modules that echoed the brand’s shapes and color treatments, creating consistency across sections while allowing flexibility for future growth.

The result was a site that feels immersive yet easy to navigate, capturing the spirit of the Evergreen Coast while supporting trip planning and discovery. Post-launch, the refreshed experience contributed to increased engagement across key landing pages, stronger interaction with trip-planning resources, and measurable growth in overall site traffic, helping position the Evergreen Coast as a must-visit destination rather than a hidden gem.
